Write-in to the City’s Rent control agency


Go to the City’s Rent Control, and write-in your rent address on your residential lease or on the side door of your unit. Be sure to remember to provide your landlord with a forwarding address (a postal code or mobile).


If your apartment is considered non-hotel or property management, write-in your apartment address and advance an estimate of your monthly payments.


If your house is not considered non-hotel or property management, forward your monthly payments to your landlord.

If you own a residence in your apartment, you can check your property and inventory the structure. Find any broken plumbing lines and corroded pipes.


If you have no plumbing or electrical infrastructure, write-in the address of your property to the property manager or engineers who are responsible for your plumbing and electrical system.

If the hose doesn’t have water pressure, an account is automatically enrolled for water and sewer pressure (mandatory for most area codes).

Do your best to make your stay comfortable. It is best to get the best deal possible for your money. If you have insurance, always look for a policy that covers your emergency meal kits.

If you are financially vulnerable, the Department of Pension Funds will work with your house manager to check the possibility of housing more people in your area.


If you have various housing issues, your doctor can suggest submitting your housing case to his or her office. You will be able to discuss your housing with the Ministry of Health and later on with the housing department.


If you meet any trouble, you can write-in or visit the local assistance offices. Make sure you obtain a security deposit.
